Houston native Ki'Ora Michelle is the next up and coming multi-genre singer out of the Bayou City. After a few years of studying classical voice, she shifted her focus from the opera hall to jazz theaters and began studying jazz as a main concentration at Texas Southern University. Ki’Ora made her debut as a hotel lounge performer in Monterey, California during the Monterrey Jazz Festival at the Hyatt Regency Monterey in 2019. By 2020 she began taking work as a live entertainment singer at Turners in Houston’s upscale Post Oak/Uptown district.

After performing at an array of upscale restaurants and corporate events in Houston, Ki’Ora Michelle has become a budding household name for live entertainment on Houston’s upscale dining/ hospitality, weddings, birthday parties, & corporate event scene. Having now taken her talents to elite venues around the world such as Venetsanos Winery in Santorini, Greece, Ana Restaurante in Cartagena, Colombia, Casa de Campo in Dominican Republic, & Le Baiser Salé Jazz Club in Paris, France, Ki’Ora Michelle is a Houston favorite for event planners and hospitality groups looking for a vocal show stopper.

As a classically trained jazz singer, Ki’Ora brings the dynamics of a r&b tone coupled with a traditional jazz swing/bebop approach to jazz, soul, and contemporary/popular music alike. Exploring her singer/songwriter abilities, Ki’Ora Michelle released her original single titled “WONDER” May 2025. This sultry composition embodies the feel of alternative R&B and “feel good” Pop.
